Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek has confirmed that Real Madrid want to sign him this summer.
Los Blancos have been linked with a move for the Netherlands international throughout the summer, and a recent report claimed that the 22-year-old was very much on the club's shortlist.
Van de Beek has claimed that Madrid "are interested" in his services, but the midfielder is currently focused on Ajax's league opener against Vitesse on Saturday.
"Yes, Real Madrid are interested in me, but you are going very fast," Cadena Cope quotes Van de Beek as saying. "I don't want to talk about what's there or what is not, now I want to be focused on the match [for Ajax] against Vitesse."
The Dutchman, who has also been linked with a move to the Premier League this summer, scored 17 times and provided 13 assists in 57 appearances for Ajax during the 2018-19 campaign.
Madrid, meanwhile, are also reportedly ready to push to sign Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba until the transfer window closes.
