Sami Khedira will reportedly return to first-team action for Real Madrid later this month.
The German has been out of action since last November after suffering a serious knee injury while on international duty.
At the time, it had been suggested that he would miss the remainder of the season and the World Cup this summer.
However, the central midfielder has recently returned to training with Los Blancos and, according to Marca, could be included in the squad for the Champions League semi-final second leg against Bayern Munich later this month.
Khedira's premature return is also expected to gain him a spot in the Germany squad for this summer's tournament.
