Real Sociedad boss David Moyes believes that late kickoff times in Spain are harming attendances.
In Spanish football, it is not unusual for kickoff times to be set as late as 10pm, which is seen as beneficial to the television companies.
However, Moyes has spoken out on the rule and claimed that the issue should be addressed.
"This is a terrible time to be playing because it prevents youngsters from attending games," Moyes told reporters at a press conference.
"The only beneficiaries are the television companies, not the journalists or the fans, and football shouldn't lose its roots because we need to get young people along to games. They are the ones who will bring their kids to matches in the future.
"I know if I had kids I wouldn't bring them, that's for sure. The situation needs to be addressed and the match is on too late."
Sociedad face Real Oviedo in the second leg of their last-32 Copa del Rey clash on Wednesday.
