A Sherjill MacDonald double handed Chicago Fire a 2-0 win over the New York Red Bulls on Saturday.

Chicago continued to enjoy the better of the opening period and Chris Folfe brought a fine save out of Luis Robles moments later.
The home side's first real chance of the match fell to Thierry Henry just before the 30-minute mark, but his effort was blocked. Meanwhile, Kenny Cooper fired wide for New York moments later.
Chicago took the lead after 65 minutes when MacDonald found the bottom corner following a searching pass from Rolfe.
Meanwhile, MacDonald grabbed his second of the match 10 minutes from time when he pounced on a loose ball inside the area to secure all three points for Chicago.
