Reims have beaten Ajaccio 4-1 in this evening's Ligue 1 clash at Stade Auguste Delaune.
The first half ended goalless, with the deadlock eventually being broken by Gaetan Charbonnier in the 59th minute.
He finished with his right foot after the ball dropped to him from Aissa Mandi, before doubling his tally two minutes later, this time from Floyd Ayite's assist.
Charbonnier set up Eliran Atar to make it 3-0 in the 73rd minute, although Eduardo clawed one back immediately.
However, Ayite killed off any hope that the Corsican side had off mounting an unlikely comeback by slipping past Guillermo Ochoa in the 77th minute.
The result leaves Reims seventh over the winter break, while Ajaccio remain rooted to the bottom.
