Nottingham Forest midfielder Andy Reid has withdrawn from the Republic of Ireland squad after picking up an injury in training.
The 31-year-old was used as a substitute in last night's 3-0 win over Latvia, but pulled up with a hamstring strain earlier today and will now miss Tuesday's clash with Poland.
"The Football Association of Ireland this evening confirmed that Andy Reid has withdrawn from the squad," said a spokesperson for the FAI.
"[He] has returned to his club due to a hamstring strain suffered this morning in training."
Reid has scored four goals in 29 appearances for his country.
