Republic of Ireland manager Martin O'Neill makes 11 changes to his side for their international friendly with a depleted USA in Dublin.

Martin O'Neill has completely rotated his Republic of Ireland squad for their friendly with USA tonight.

Eleven changes are made to the side who lost 1-0 to Scotland in a crucial Euro 2016 qualifier on Friday, with David McGoldrick and Cyrus Christie making their debuts.

Neither were born in Ireland but are eligible to play for the Republic through their grandparents.

Shay Given, 38, wins his 127th international cap in goal, while McGoldrick's Ipswich Town teammate Daryl Murphy, and Hull City trio Robbie Brady, Stephen Quinn and David Meyler are also handed starts.

Everton's Seamus Coleman and James McCarthy are rested, while Robbie Keane has returned to America to prepare for the MLS playoffs along with Jermaine Jones, Lee Nguyen, DeAndre Yedlin and DaMarcus Beasley of the US.

Sunderland striker Jozy Altidore leads the line for the Americans, who have Bolton Wanderers defender Tim Ream on the bench.
