Germany midfield Sami Khedira has insisted that his side are aware of the threat that will be provided by Republic of Ireland tomorrow evening.
Joachin Low's men are four points clear in their World Cup qualifying group, and beat Ireland 6-1 last October.
However, Khedira maintains that it will be a hard game particularly as Ireland will be looking for revenge.
"There are very positive memories [from the last game] for sure," Khedira told reporters.
"The Irish aren't easy to play; they're physically very strong and fight hard for 90 minutes.
"They want payback for the first game. They have nothing to lose, so we have to show the same passion and power again in order to have another great game."
Khedira is expected to start alongside Bastian Schweinsteiger in midfield for tomorrow's game.
