Rochdale have reached the fifth round of the FA Cup thanks to a 1-0 win over Championship side Millwall in Tuesday night's fourth-round replay at Spotland.
The first half ended goalless as neither side was truly able to get going on a heavily-sanded pitch, the hosts mustering slightly more possession on the difficult surface.
However, Dale managed to find the breakthrough on 53 minutes when Ian Henderson turned home Calvin Andrew's cross from the left wing from close range.
On 75 minutes, Andrew Cannon had a go from distance for Rochdale but David Martin was behind it as both sides continued to push forward for a crucial second goal of the match.
Chances remained at a premium in the latter stages of the game, though the League One side continued to ask questions from their second-tier opponents.
Keith Hill's charges were eventually able to see the game out to secure a fifth-round tie against either Tottenham Hotspur or Newport County.
