Roma captain Francesco Totti has claimed that conceding a late equaliser in the 1-1 draw with CSKA Moscow left him feeling like he had taken a punch from Mike Tyson.
Vasiliy Berezutski's goal in the final minute of stoppage time denied Roma a crucial win, and sends the Serie A side into their final game against Manchester City knowing that a defeat will send them out of the competition.
"It's like I took a punch from Tyson today because it was completely unexpected. Until then it had been perfect for me; I'd scored, we led 1-0 and were on the verge of qualifying," Totti told Rai.
"But then what happened has happened.
"We must think only of ourselves now. We knew we were facing a difficult group, where nobody gave us a chance, but, going down to the last game, we have our fate in our own hands."
Roma, City and CSKA, whose sixth game is against Group E winners Bayern Munich, are all on five points heading into the final round of fixtures.
