Roma general manager Franco Baldini has hinted that coach Luis Enrique will be given another year at the club.
The Spaniard has had an indifferent season in charge of the Lupi, with the side currently sitting seventh in the Serie A table following Saturday's 2-2 draw with Napoli.
However, Baldini believes that Enrique deserves more time to improve the team.
"We need to improve in many aspects, both as a club and as a team, and I think that Luis Enrique has great qualities and should have at least another year to showcase them and build something," he said.
"We firmly believe in him and he too believes in the project, despite the difficulties we are all facing. At the end of the season we will take stock of the situation.
"Everyone speaks well of him and his idea of the game, not just us and the players, but also their opponents."
Enrique joined Roma in 2011 following a three-year spell in charge of Barcelona's B team.
