Roma starlet Alessandro Florenzi has insisted that the club's target for this season remains to qualify for Europe, despite a superb start to the campaign.
The Giallorossi have enjoyed their best-ever opening to a Serie A season under new coach Rudi Garcia, winning six successive matches to top the table early on.
Florenzi has admitted that missing out on Europe last season was a huge psychological blow, but believes that they have enough quality to put that right this time round.
Following Roma's 5-0 win over Bologna last night Florenzi told Sky Sport Italia: "The objective is to get back into Europe. It's not nice staying at home in the week.
"We have a lot of quality players who can make things look easy. We opened the scoring quickly and bossed the match as we wanted to.
"We even did well in the second half despite the clear advantage."
The 22-year-old has flourished in an advanced wide role under Garcia in recent weeks, with the opener against Bologna last night his third goal in six games.
