Roma manager Rudia Garcia has praised his team for their 2-1 victory over Fiorentina in Serie A this afternoon.
The Giallorossi maintained their unbeaten league record and moved to within three points of Juventus in the table, having drawn their last four league games.
"Today what really mattered was to win and I am very happy for both the players and fans," Garcia told Sky Sport Italia. "It was also great for [Mattia] Destro, who had been out of action for a very long time. He did well, changed the game and made his mark on the afternoon.
"We put in a great performance with a lot of quality. Morgan De Sanctis also made a decisive save, as he has a lot of experience and the mistake in Bergamo is behind him now.
"It was a very entertaining game and in order to do that you need two great teams and a great referee. I wasn't worried by the run of four straight draws, because I was certain the victory would return eventually."
Roma's next league game is against AC Milan on December 16.
