Roma coach Rudi Garcia labelled Francesco Totti as one of the finest players to ever play football following his side's 3-0 win over Inter Milan on Saturday.
The Italian scored twice to help his team on their way to a big away win in Serie A, and Garcia singled him out for some high praise after the game.
"Totti is one of the best players in the history of football and to see him so happy is wonderful," Garcia told reporters.
"We have a leader in attack and he showed the way. The side has confidence, the players believe in themselves and that is very important. The team also showed mental strength in the second half and that was important, seeing a side that never gives up. I liked it and that will be important for the future.
"I liked the collective spirit of the team, but we also played with heart when needed and played like men tonight."
Roma have made a perfect start to their Serie A campaign, winning all seven of their games.
