Kevin Strootman has said that he is disappointed with Roma's failure to beat AC Milan in their Serie A match on Monday evening.
The game finished in a 2-2 draw, with Roma taking the lead twice, only to be pegged back by Milan, and Strootman believes that his side did enough to win.
"We deserved the victory, we created so many chances – especially in the first half of the game," Football Italia quotes him as saying.
"It's a shame that we conceded the two goals we did – one from a set-piece and the other because of a lack of attention.
"But this result changes nothing for us as our objective for the season is to finish in one of the top three places."
Roma are currently second in the Serie A table.
