Brazil legend Claudio Taffarel has claimed that Roma stopper Alisson is capable of becoming the best goalkeeper in world football.
After impressing during his time at the Stadio Olimpico, Alisson is reportedly attracting interest from the likes of Liverpool and Real Madrid, and the 25-year-old has acknowledged that he is happy to be linked with two European giants.
Taffarel is currently working as a goalkeeping coach with Brazil, and the country's former number one feels that Alisson can eclipse the level of Juventus great Gianluigi Buffon.
The 51-year-old told Omnisport: "In the time that we worked with him at Internacional and with the national squad, we knew he would reach a high level.
"I'll always respect the career of Buffon, who has been brilliant. But I believe that Alisson, as a goalkeeper, is more technical with a different posture.
"He always stands assertively and is confident in what he does. Alisson is really impressive.
Alisson has won 22 caps with the national team.
