Roma have secured seventh place in Serie A with a 3-2 win away to bottom-placed Cesena on the final day of the season.
It was the hosts who made the brightest start, taking the lead within ten minutes. Mario Santana found Simone Del Nero and the Lazio loanee made no mistake.
Roma fought back and got an equaliser shortly before the half-hour mark when Bojan Krkic did well to finish after being supplied by Erik Lamela.
Lamela got himself on the scoresheet just five minutes later to put the visitors into the lead after some good work by Francesco Totti.
This lead was doubled minutes after the restart as Daniele De Rossi stroked home to all but wrap up the three points for the away side.
Cesena grabbed a consolation goal late on through Santana, but it was too little too late for the already-relegated side.
The result means that Roma finish the season in seventh place, just two points off sixth-placed Inter but a massive 28 points off champions Juventus.
