Mattia Destro's agent insists that the striker is "happy" at Roma and is not looking for a new club.

Roma striker Mattia Destro will not leave the club in the summer, the player's agent has insisted.

Renzo Contratto claims that the 22-year-old is "happy" at the Serie A club and has dismissed rumours that the Italian could move on at the end of the season.

"At this moment in time Mattia is happy at Roma," Contratto told Radio CRC.

"The Giallorossi have a squad that is perhaps superior to some of the sides who are ahead of them in the table.

"Roma opted for the Destro project and Destro opted for the Roma project in the summer. Everything else is just fantasy."

Destro joined Roma from Siena last summer.
