Former Siena sporting director Giorgio Perinetti has advised Roma to keep hold of striker Mattia Destro.
The 21-year-old has not scored since joining the Galiarossi from Siena in the summer and there is speculation that Juventus could propose a swap with Fabio Qualiarella.
However, Perinetti believes that Zdenek Zeman should keep faith with the Italian international.
"I wouldn't do the swap if I was Roma," Perinetti told the Gazzetta Giallorossa. "That's not because Quagliarella is not a good player, but because the potential of Destro is massive.
"To give him to Juventus would mean handing over Italy's striker of the future. Roma went for him and I think they'll keep a tight grip on him."
Destro scored 13 goals for Siena last season.
