Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic has insisted that he has no intention of leaving the club in the summer transfer window.
The Bosnian has been linked with a move to the Premier League in recent weeks but Pjanic said that he is hoping to sign a new contract instead.
"I don't want to leave. Everyone at the club knows that," Pjanic told Roma's official website. "I've always wanted to stay here. I want to give everything to start the season well.
"I don't know about the financial situation at the club. A new contract doesn't happen overnight. We're talking about it. The desire is there and we'll see what happens in the future."
Pjanic has 40 caps for Bosnia and has scored eight times.
