Ross County will return to SPL action on Wednesday for the first time since the international break as they look to return to winning ways in a bid to push out of the relegation zone.
However, Hibernian are fresh from reaching the final of the Scottish League Cup and that is something that will no doubt provide plenty of confidence for the squad.
Match preview
Ross County have only recorded one victory in the league this season in what has proven to be a difficult campaign for the club so far.
They currently sit bottom of the division, but with a game in hand on the teams directly above them, there is a real incentive within this particular match.
Their first three points came in style when the Staggies defeated Dundee 5-0, but they were unable to follow that up in their most recent outing before the international break.
Ross County faced the current league leaders, Rangers and even though they took the lead in the fifth minute courtesy of a Joseph Hungbo goal, the Gers ended up taking control with a 4-2 win in the end.
However, the recent run of form in front of goal is something that could provide some belief to Malky Mackay's team, which will be needed on Wednesday.
The Staggies were comfortably beaten by Hibernian when they met earlier this season with a strong performance leading to a 3-0 victory for the Hibees.
Jack Ross had seen his team begin to struggle in the league prior to the international break, losing four matches in a row which resulted in his team slipping down to seventh in the table.
However, the club have at least three games in hand on the teams above them, having four on others and that is something that will provide the team with confidence that they can climb back up.
The Hibees returned to action at the weekend in the semi-final of the Scottish League Cup and they were back to their best, defeating Rangers 3-1 to secure a place in the final.
Martin Boyle was on hand to score a hat-trick in the first half, putting the game past the Gers, which will certainly make him a threat again in midweek.

Team News
Hungbo has been amongst the goals lately for Ross County and he should be set to keep his place in the team as he aims to fire his team within just one point of Dundee.
After having not played a game since November 7, the squad should be fresh, having benefitted from a lengthy break that has been several days longer than the rest of the teams in the league.
Boyle will be set to be the main attacking threat for the Hibees on Wednesday, fresh from scoring three times at the weekend while he also found the back of the net the last time he faced the Staggies.
Christian Doidge will also be available for the club in midweek, which adds another option to Ross, further strengthening the squad depth.
However, there will be fitness concerns over Ryan Porteous as he had to be replaced in the semi-final at the weekend, but that should lead to an opportunity for Darren McGregor.
Ross County possible starting lineup:
Maynard-Brewer; Randall, Lacovitti, Baldwin, Clarke; Hungbo, Callachan, Paton, Tillson, Charles-Cook; Burroughs
Hibernian possible starting lineup:
Macey; Hanlon, McGregor, McGinn; Doig, Newell, Allan, Doyle-Hayes, Cadden; Nisbet, Boyle
We say: Ross County 0-3 Hibernian
Ross County have found life in the SPL incredibly hard this season and that is not going to get any easier on Wednesday when they face Hibernian.
The visitors are coming fresh from defeating the current champions in cup football and have showcased a real attacking spark that should put them in the driving seat for this match.
