Bournemouth and Rotherham United are yet to break the deadlock after an uneventful first 45 minutes of their Championship clash at Dean Court.
The opening half saw neither side able to create any meaningful openings, although Callum Wilson and Marc Pugh did look threatening for the hosts, and Kari Arnason had to throw himself in the way of the former's shot in the 18th minute.
Rotherham new boys Luciano Becchio and Jonson Clarke-Harris became increasingly frustrated with their teammates as they were left to fight for scraps throughout the first half.
Arnason had a half-chance to put his side ahead shortly before the break, but his volley flew well wide of the mark.
