Paolo Di Canio has reportedly lodged a second application to become the manager of Rotherham United.
The Millers are on the lookout for a new boss after the decision was taken to sack Neil Redfearn earlier today.
According to PA, Di Canio has thrown his hat into the ring, having also declared an interest in the position when it was vacant last September.
The report adds that the Italian did not get an interview on that occasion and a similar verdict is expected to be made this time around.
The 47-year-old has been out of work since he was dismissed by Sunderland in September 2013.
