Rotherham United manager Neil Redfearn has claimed that the club could have one of the best strikers in the Championship on their books in Leon Best.
The 29-year-old joined the Millers on a free transfer last week, having been released by Blackburn Rovers during the summer.
Best was sent off on his debut in the win over Leeds United on Saturday, but Redfearn has stated that he showed glimpses of his talent at Elland Road.
"It's a shame because he is going to be a big player for us," Redfearn told the Sheffield Star. "His ability is undoubted. If we can get him playing to his abilities we have probably got one of the best players in the division.
"I thought he did great at Leeds, I think he is going to get better and better. Second half he really warmed to it, he is a real physical presence, he has got undoubted ability.
"He feels loved, that's a big thing. You can't doubt the lad's ability but he has been pushed around the leagues and hasn't really been given an opportunity, but he's somewhere where we will respect him and he'll be a great signing for us."
Best will be suspended for the next three games following his red card.
