Russia coach Fabio Capello has insisted that he has no intentions of benching goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev for the World Cup clash with Belgium.
Akinfeev was left red-faced after parrying Lee Keun-Ho's effort into his own net in the 1-1 draw with South Korea last Sunday.
However, Capello rates the 28-year-old among the world's best shot-stoppers and backs him to respond to the error.
"I had decided after the mistake that Akinfeev would stay because he's great goalkeeper," the Italian told reporters. "I never thought about changing him. He's one of the best in the world."
Tomorrow's Group H encounter at the Maracana kicks off at 5pm.
