Sampdoria manager Sinisa Mihajlovic is confident that his team can get back to winning ways by beating Napoli in their Serie A match on Monday evening.
The Blucerchiati have drawn their last two games in the league, but they could climb up to third in the table if they pick up three points against Rafael Benitez's side at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.
"On paper we are the underdogs, but the strongest teams do not always win," Mihajlovic told reporters. "After all, last week we dropped two points against Cesena and Cagliari, while we could've equalised with Inter.
"We proved that we are two different teams, home and away, so I told my lads that a squad with real grit has one face, like real men do. This is why, with all due respect to Napoli, tomorrow I want to win back the two points we lost at Cesena.
"To achieve this we need determination, efficiency and to be clinical in front of goal. What I can assure is that tomorrow an angry and ferocious Sampdoria will step on to the field. If that's not the case, I will make sure the players do not have an enjoyable week."
Sampdoria have been beaten just once in their 12 league matches this season.
