Sassuolo manager Eusebio Di Francesco has criticised his team for their performance during Sunday afternoon's 1-0 defeat against Empoli.
A late goal from Massimo Maccarone saw the Neroverdi's unbeaten run in Serie A come to an end, and Di Francesco admitted that his side did not deserve to pick up any points.
"I'm not happy," he told Sky Sport Italia. "I didn't see the team that we have seen in recent weeks. We're not happy with what we saw in a single second of today's game.
"Today we were absurdly distracted, though is not an excuse I can accept. We did a little better in the second half but in the end we didn't give enough to bring the points home.
"I liked the way Empoli played, they deserved the victory."
Sassuolo are currently sixth in the Serie A table.
