Vitesse remain in fifth after they beat SBV Excelsior 3-0 away from home in the Eredivisie.
Vitesse took the lead midway through the first half as Sander Fischer handled the ball in the box and Chelsea loanee Dominic Solanke dispatched the resulting penalty.
Tom van Weert then had a chance to double the visitors' lead but his close-range header was put wide of Tom Muyters's goal.
After the break, Vitesse did add to their earlier goal as Kevin Diks struck the ball from distance and his low effort across goal was too good for Muyters to keep out.
Four minutes later, Milot Rashica was put through on goal by Valeri Qazaishvili and the 19-year-old Albanian faked a shot before placing the ball home for three.
Lewis Baker, another Chelsea loan star, came close in the final few minutes with a shot from distance that hit the bar but it did not affect the result as the visitors claim their sixth win of the season.
