Bottom-of-the-table SC Farense will once again go in search of their first win of the season when they welcome Boavista to the Estadio de Sao Luis on Sunday.
Sergio Vieira's newly-promoted side have found things tough since regaining their place in the top flight, and host a Boavista team coming into the match off the back of a famous win over Benfica.
Match preview
In a season of many remarkable results around Europe, Boavista's 3-0 win over Benfica on Monday still manages to stand out as a shock scoreline.
Benfica went into that match boasting a 100% record this season whereas Boavista were winless in 10 league games stretching back to last season, yet goals from Angel Gomes, Alberto Elis and Yanis Hamache earned Vasco Seabra his first victory since taking over in some style.
The result took Boavista out of the relegation zone and up to 13th in the Primeira Liga table, and they will now be firm favourites to record back-to-back league wins for only the third time this calendar year.
Away form is the biggest hurdle to overcome if they are to do that, having failed to win any of their last seven games on the road.
That said, they are one of only four teams yet to lose away from home this season - drawing all three so far - and they face a Farense side with only one point from their three home outings in 2020-21.
Indeed, Farense have only picked up two points home or away from their opening six games, quickly sinking to the bottom of the table in their first top-flight campaign since 2001-02.
Vieira's side were seconds away from changing that with a first win of the campaign last time out, only to concede a gutting 98th-minute equaliser in their draw with Belenenses in a match which also saw them miss a penalty and have a man sent off.
Farense's only other point this season came by virtue of a stoppage-time equaliser of their own, though, and they will feel that a maiden victory is not too far away having shown signs of improvement recently.
However, they are the only team yet to chalk up a victory so far, and another defeat this weekend could see the gap to safety grow that little bit bigger.

We say: SC Farense 1-2 Boavista
Boavista should be full of confidence after such an incredible result last time out, and they could hardly wish for a better game in which to back it up. Farense were so close to their first win of the season in their last match, but we can see that wait being prolonged with an away victory in this match.
