Schalke striker Klass-Jan Huntelaar has declared that a perfect gameplan helped his side pick up an impressive win against Arsenal.
Huntelaar opened the scoring in the second half at the Emirates before Ibrahim Affelay doubled their advantage by finishing off an incisive breakaway.
The Dutch hitman thinks that working tirelessly to deny the Gunners time and space was the key to victory.
He told Sky Sports News: "We are very pleased, I think we played well and when we had our chances and we scored two goals.
"The key was to keep the defence and midfield close together and not allow them any space and then play on the counter.
"We had quality down the right in Jefferson Farfan and the win puts us in a really good position now."
Huub Stevens's side now lead their Champions League group by one point from Arsenal and hold a four-point advantage over Olympiakos in third place.
