Schalke 04 midfielder Jermaine Jones has admitted that he is not sure how his side did not win their Champions League playoff first-leg clash against PAOK.
Jefferson Farfan opened the scoring on the night, but a Miroslav Stoch equaliser left the German side requiring a win in Greece to qualify.
Jones, however, said that he is confident of success if Schalke play like they did during the 1-1 draw.
"We don't see this as too much of a negative result," Jones told UEFA.com. "We know we had one or two chances which we probably should have converted, but we showed a completely different face to the one we showed at Wolfsburg at the weekend and that's what we need to take from this game.
"I don't know what went wrong in the second half. We sat back too much and didn't maintain our pressing game, allowing them into it. Still, we want to be in the Champions League and if we can create the same kind of chances next week I'm convinced we'll make it into the group stage."
Jones has been at Schalke since 2007.
