Schalke 04 will reportedly offer Klaas-Jan Huntelaar a new three-year contract in a bid to ward off other clubs' interest.
The 28-year-old scored 48 goals for the club last season, but his contract is due to expire at the end of next season.
According to Bild, the Dutch striker will be offered a £6.5m-a-year contract as Schalke attempt to build their squad ahead of the new campaign.
The German club finished third in the Bundesliga last season.
