David Marshall has said that Scotland "played well" despite their defeat to Germany in their Euro 2016 qualifier in Dortmund this evening.
Thomas Muller gave the World Cup winners the lead twice after Ikechi Anya cancelled out his first-half header for the Scots.
The goalkeeper told Sky Sports News: "It was disappointing. We were probably the team towards the end, we were in the ascendency at that point.
"We are trying to get points on the board. The gaffer changed things for the second half and we played well. It shows how well we had done that we have come away disappointed with this result against Germany."
Scotland will face Georgia and Poland next month.
