Scotland manager Gordon Strachan has insisted that his players are making progress ahead of Tuesday's World Cup qualifier against Macedonia.
The Scots go into the match in Skopje at the bottom of Group A, but Strachan is confident that the team are heading in the right direction.
"We are making progress as a group, getting to know each other, and understanding what the training means," Sky Sports News quotes him as saying. "It's quite intensive.
"I can work with winning and trying to win and I can work with trying to progress as well. You don't do one or another, you can do both."
Scotland were held to a 1-1 draw by Macedonia at Hampden Park when the two sides met last September.
