Scunthorpe United have won their fourth consecutive match of pre-season with a 1-0 victory at home to Huddersfield Town.
The hosts came close early on when triallist Miguel Llera's free kick flew narrowly over the crossbar, while Nahki Wells volleyed over from close range at the other end.
Huddersfield carved out two good openings in the final 10 minutes of the first half, but Tommy Smith and Martin Paterson were both denied by goalkeeper Sam Slocombe.
Despite struggling to match their opponents for much of the opening 45 minutes, Scunthorpe made the breakthrough on 58 minutes when Paddy Madden was picked out inside the box before firing in.
Huddersfield pushed hard for an equaliser during the final 10 minutes, but the United defence held firm to claim the win.
