NY City vs. Colorado (Sunday, 9.00pm)
Making their first-ever visit to Citi Field, the Colorado Rapids will battle New York City FC on Sunday, for the first time in the MLS regular season since 2022.
A last-ditch goal at home to Charlotte FC lifted the Pigeons to a 2-1 triumph last weekend, moving them up to sixth in the Eastern Conference, the same spot that the Rapids sit out West despite losing their previous encounter, 2-1 to FC Cincinnati.
We say: New York City FC 2-1 Colorado Rapids
It may have taken a little longer than Cushing had hoped, but it seems as though the NYCFC youngsters have figured out how to handle these pressure situations and win close games.
Colorado are vastly improved and have some quality attacking pieces to watch out for, but we believe there are still some growing pains that will happen before they can truly turn the corner.

Seattle vs. LA Galaxy (Sunday, 11.45pm)
Matchday 11 of the MLS campaign concludes on Sunday, as the Seattle Sounders seek successive domestic triumphs for the first time in 2024 when they host the Los Angeles Galaxy at Lumen Field.
Earlier this week, the Rave Green held onto a 3-2 victory over the Philadelphia Union, moving up to 12th in the Western Conference, while LA lost 2-0 at Austin FC and are now second in the conference, behind Real Salt Lake on goal difference.
We say: Seattle Sounders 1-0 Los Angeles Galaxy
If Joveljic cannot go, it is not the end of the world for LA as they boast plenty of attacking depth, but so much of their play filters through Puig and without him, we fear it will be difficult for them to create many chances.
The Sounders are starting to get some key midfield pieces back, while their struggling attack should be full of confidence following a strong showing against one of the top defensive units in the league over the past few seasons in Philadelphia.
