Sevilla manager Unai Emery has said that his team must be wary of the threat posed by Fiorentina in their Europa League clash this week.
The clubs will meet at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan for the first leg of their semi-final tie on Thursday evening, and Emery believes that his players must pay special attention to prevent Mohamed Salah and Mario Gomez from having any chances.
"The defensive unit will have to remain strong against the qualities of Fiorentina," Goal.com quotes him as saying.
"They will need to cover Salah, Mario Gomez and watch their midfielders as well. Borja Valero is a very good player and someone who we were once interested in.
"I appreciate the quality of the Fiorentina players, the club has made a significant financial effort to get them to the club."
Sevilla are the current holders of the Europa League, having beaten Benfica on penalties in last year's final.
