Sevilla boss Unai Emery has called on Sergio Rico to show consistency if he wants to be regarded as "a top goalkeeper".
Rico, 22, starred in his team's 2-1 win over Barcelona at the weekend, making a number of excellent saves to help the hosts secure the points.
The Seville-born stopper has also recently broken into the Spain squad, but Emery has said that Rico still needs to work on performing to a high level on a weekly basis.
"[Sergio Rico] is still in the process of becoming a top goalkeeper but now has to repeat performances like his [against Barca]," Emery told reporters. "He was born here and progressed from our youth system, and all sevillistas must want to be Sevilla's goalkeeper."
Beto started the season as Sevilla's first-choice stopper, but the Portuguese is currently on the sidelines with an injury.
