Sevilla attacker Jairo Samperio has claimed that the Spanish outfit "achieved something massive" this season.
Unai Emery led his side to the Europa League title this season, in addition to a top-five finish in La Liga after a successful second half to the campaign.
Sevilla's first-team squad have not yet broken up for the summer, however, with the La Liga team currently in Asia ahead of games against Indonesia and Malaysia.
"In the end, the season has gone really well, although we've still got these friendlies to come. We'll enjoy ourselves and face them in a more relaxed way," he told Sevilla FC Radio.
"It's a long journey there and we'll have to patient, just like we were at the start of the season and after everyone said it would be tough for us, everything has gone so well.
"We all believed in our work, a lot of us were new and young players and when nobody thought we could win anything, we've achieved something massive."
Jairo moved to Sevilla from Racing Santander in 2013.
