Sevilla boss Vincenzo Montella has admitted that he was left 'angry but proud' of his team following Saturday's 2-2 draw with Barcelona at the Estadio Ramon.
Sevilla led 2-0 against the runaway La Liga leaders early in the second period, but Barcelona spectacularly secured a late point courtesy of goals from Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi in the closing moments.
Montella has bemoaned Sevilla's inability to finish off the match at 2-0, but has said that he was immensely proud of his side having "controlled the game against Barcelona".
"I'm angry on one side, but on the other I'm proud because the team has controlled the game against Barcelona," Montella told reporters.
Both teams will now switch their attention to the Champions League, with Sevilla hosting Bayern Munich in the first leg of their quarter-final on Tuesday night, while Barcelona will welcome Roma one day later.
