Sevilla boss Unai Emery has admitted that his team need to improve following a disappointing start to the season.
Last season's Europa League winners have only collected two points from their first three La Liga games this term, with the latest being a 1-1 draw at Levante on Friday.
Emery has claimed that Sevilla 'would have won games like that last season', but is confident that his side will improve.
"Work still needs to be done. We won games like these last season. We competed collectively, did certain things well and showed great defensive strength, which allowed us to attack," Emery told reporters.
"We were dominant in the first half, but we're not satisfied because we needed something more than just our goal. Two points aren't enough. It's not the start we wanted, but we must be optimistic and give more individually and collectively."
Sevilla are in Champions League action at home to Borussia Monchengladbach on Tuesday.
