Sevilla registered their first win of the season with a hard-fought victory away to Espanyol on Saturday.
The Europa League winners took the lead on 34 minutes when Carlos Bacca caught his opponent napping to reach Coke's cross before tucking the ball beyond Francisco Casilla.
Espanyol had started brightly when Sergio Garcia struck the post and Abraham fizzed an effort wide inside the first ten minutes.
However, Sevilla looked threatening during the opening period, with Bacca having forced a save from Casilla earlier in the half.
Just after the break, Sevilla seemed to have put the result beyond the Catalan side when Vicente Iborra rose to meet a pinpoint Denis Suarez's cross to put his effort past a helpless Casilla.
However, the home side had pulled a goal back within a matter of moments as Christian Stuani headed home Victor Sanchez's cross.
Sevilla seemed unflustered by conceding and looked to add to their tally, with Ever Banega, Iborra and Alex Vidal going close for the visitors.
Indeed, they almost found a third in stoppage time when Nicolas Pareja struck the woodwork with a free kick with the last kick of the game.
Sevilla stay in the top four for the time being, while Espanyol are still searching for their first league win of the season.
