Sheffield United have secured the services of Chris Porter and Ben Davies for 2014-15 by agreeing one-year contracts with both.
Porter returned from a loan at Chesterfield to help the Blades climb the table in the second half of last season, while Davies was a success on loan from Derby County.
"Chris and Ben are well known to the coaching staff and we're delighted that they are on board for next season," manager Nigel Clough told the club website.
"Both contributed to our success last season and we hope they will do the same when we kick off the new campaign."
United have now signed six players this summer following the additions of Marc McNulty, Jamal Campbell-Ryce, Chris Basham and Andy Butler.
