Sheffield United have completed the signing of Doncaster Rovers striker Billy Paynter on loan until the end of the season.
The 29-year-old, who joined Doncaster from Leeds United in 2012, has scored once in 12 appearances this term.
"Billy is a proven striker at this level and he gives us additional options with a busy period of fixtures ahead," Sheffield United boss Nigel Clough told the South Yorkshire Times.
"He is cup-tied but available for the league games and will be able to share the load with Chris Porter."
Paynter could make his Blades debut against Notts County on Saturday.
