Sheffield Wednesday manager Stuart Gray admitted that his side could have lost their third-round FA Cup tie against Macclesfield Town on Saturday.
Reda Johnson opened the scoring for the Owls before Steve Williams equalised for Macclesfield to set up a replay at Wednesday's Hillsborough stadium.
Gray told reporters: "We started very well, bossed the game, and got our noses in front but we didn't build on that.
"There was a ten minute period in the second half where we gave possession away far too easily and gave away far too many free-kicks.
"The disappointing thing is we looked like we could have lost the game."
Wednesday had previously beaten Blackpool 2-0 in the league on New Year's Day.
