Sheffield Wednesday head coach Carlos Carvalhal has praised his squad for the progress that they have made since he arrived at the club during the summer.
Carvalhal was a surprise appointment at the Owls after three years out of the dugout, but the experienced Portuguese has impressed since his arrival at Hillsborough, losing just three of his 16 games in charge.
On Friday night, he moved to eight victories with a 2-1 win in the Yorkshire derby at Rotherham United, and Carvalhal has revealed that he has been delighted with the "amazing attitude" of his squad since the start of the campaign.
The 49-year-old is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "It's amazing how in three months we have changed a lot of things, but we are still in the process. The players are doing fantastic, they follow our ideas, they have an amazing attitude, they are playing like a group.
"There are probably 10 or 12 teams better than us in this competition and we have to show on the pitch that we can fight with these teams and let's see what we can do. I still think we can do better."
The success over Rotherham has seen Wednesday move just a point away from a playoff place in the Championship table.
