Sheffield Wednesday chief Carlos Carvalhal has lauded Joe Wildsmith after handing the youngster his first Championship start.
The Owls academy product was thrown in for the trip to Burnley on the weekend in place of the injured Keiren Westwood.
Wildsmith has featured three times in all for Wednesday this term, while he is also in line to start against Bolton Wanderers in midweek.
Speaking to the club's official website, Carvalhal said: "Joe had a very good match. He gave confidence to the team and he will play again on Tuesday.
"Joe is a very, very good goalkeeper and has a big, big future. He's only 19 years old but we trust him 100%. I'm very happy with Joe and if he keeps playing like this, he will play more times this season because we trust him a lot."
Wildsmith has previously spent time on loan at Alfreton Town and Barnsley across the last two seasons.
