Carlos Carvalhal has stressed that he wants to stay at Sheffield Wednesday following Sunday's impressive 3-0 win over Leeds United.
The Portuguese boss had been under pressure after recent defeats against city rivals Sheffield United and struggling Birmingham City.
However, the Owls responded with a dominant win over their Yorkshire rivals at Hillsborough, Gary Hooper netting a brace and Kieran Lee adding a third eight minutes from time.
"I'm very resilient and I know my way. I started in the third division in Portugal and got to the first. To do that I must work and it wasn't easy and nobody gave me anything," Carvalhal told Sky Sports News after the game.
"There are a lot of emotions when we have a lot of love for something but I want to stay at Sheffield Wednesday. I think the patience, work and quality is passed to the players and they expressed it on the pitch."
The result sees Wednesday climb up to 12th in the Championship table.
