Sheffield Wednesday manager Stuart Gray has confirmed that midfielder Kieran Lee will undergo a scan on a hamstring injury in order to determine the extent of the damage.
The 25-year-old was forced off the field during the second half of his side's 1-0 defeat to Derby County on Tuesday.
"It's not a tear, but it's a hamstring problem," Sky Sports News quotes Gray as saying. "It was bad enough for him to come off because when Kieran lies on the pitch, you know he has got a problem. It's a scan job and I wouldn't want to put a timescale on how long he will be out for."
Lee is expected to miss this weekend's Yorkshire derby against Huddersfield.
