Forward Lucas Joao has penned a new three-year contract at Sheffield Wednesday.
The Championship club have not been able to make any first-team additions this summer, but the Owls have revealed that Joao has committed his future to them until 2021.
The 24-year-old has spent the last three years at Hillsborough, with 15 goals being scored in 82 appearances at the second tier of English football.
Joao has only been used off the bench on one occasion during the club's opening three fixtures in the Championship.
The Yorkshire outfit have recorded just one point from games against Wigan Athletic, Hull City and Brentford.
